OSSTF President Ken Coran will be parachuted in as the sole OLP candidate for London West in the upcoming by election! The riding association has announced he will be acclaimed next Tuesday. Only one name was put forward. Coran is well known for having reached a controversial MOE MOU with the Liberal government after leading his public secondary school teachers union teachers through a year long plus protest + rotating strike. He has even claimed responsibility for bringing down former OLP Premier Dalton McGuinty, and even having a hand in the recent resignations. He praises Premier Wynne for drawing him into politics with her sense of collaboration, openness and honesty. Collaboration Ken? Indeed!
